review:

notes: Dreams Hoards present a potential, painful truth that many of us are too afraid to face:
that America is not nearly as equal as we would like, and that it is due to not just the top 1%, but the top 20% defined as any household with incomes greater than $112,000. Reeves’s arguments are persuasive, and substantiated with specific data points. Solutions to some of the problems presented in the book are also included in the end, which was unexpected and appreciated for a book of this kind. As a fast read, it should be read and contemplated by those who are worried about inequality and social mobility.
